To put in simple words, Dunajam is a one-of-a-kind rock’n’roll/stoner/doom/garage/metal/psychedelic pilgrimage… with all the rules and vibes of a rave party.
Nobody knows who the organizer behind this is, except for the people who attend Dunajam since the beginning, the bands who play and the unknown masters’ assistants.
It takes place in Sardinia, one of Italy’s major islands in the Mediterranean Sea, and both precise location and line-up are secret until the day of the show.
This project is a portrait series of the many volunteers, from all over the world, which are part of this community.They are in charge to set up the festival every day, for an entire month, in a different place all around the island’s shores.
Blurry tone and light effects on the photos were not applied on purpose. Those peculiarities document the simple effect of Dunajam on my person.
